Hi

With a 6'6" width you will find It close with your X5 F15 as according to BMW the width

with mirrors folded and just the bodywork is 1938 mm or about 6' 4.3" which will be close

and if the mirrors are the out position then it's 2184 mm or about 7'2"so that wouldn't fit

Link here https://www.bmw.co.uk/en_GB/new-vehicle ... ldata.html

I know the same with my E70 as the access is less than 8' wide and with the mirrors out on the E70 it's tight so I just fold them in

It sounds like you may have to make a detour or hold you breath as you go through that gap  :))

I'd try and avoid it to be honest - unless the surround view makes it much easier/doable?  Marlow Bridge is the closest 6'6" restriction to me but is closed for the foreseeable as a HGV driver managed to get through the width restriction and damage the bridge.

So since this thread started has anyone encountered some tight spots in the f15?

I just avoid 6'6" width limits.
