Saying goodbye to the X5 tomorrow

Had a relatively trouble free 5/6 months with the X5, helped a bought a low mileage example (well, 72k if that's low) and well looked after.  Decided it just wasn't really for me and always felt a bit too heavy.

Picking up another BMW tomorrow, a new M5 so super excited about that!

I have a few bits and bobs that will be up for grabs, such as custom fitted sunblinds, rear boot tray, complete set of brake pads and discs etc and was considering pulling the Dynavin N6 out and offering that also if there's interest.

That's a shame the X is going but a great car you;re going to!

Enjoy the M5, having had one from new for the last three years and 32000 miles I can confirm they are simply epic  8)

Thanks yes, the X5 has done me well to be honest, certainly brought me over to the BMW brand.

Car is registered and ready to collect within the hour...very excited now!

Only picked it up yesterday, needs to be run in but even without exceeding the revs set for running in its fast!

Very well made, interior is lovely and it sounds awesome!

Thought i'd post a few photos, loving the car a lot and I'm still running it in!

Its docile and comfortable one minute but if you poke the bear then it turns into a complete animal, epic turn of speed!

Looks very nice, and I assume it goes round bends better than your old X5  :)

Sakhir looks great (albeit a bold move!)

Enjoy it, don't forget to have the running in service and watch out for plod, the M5 picks up speed in a truly ferocious way  ;)

I'm still coming to terms with my 'slow' 50d which seems almost like an oil tanker compared to my old M5
