Has anybody downloaded this from the connected drive store and is it worth it?
I have my doubts as it appears to essentially mirror the iDrive but empties a further £235 from your wallet.

Was going to do it this weekend but I'm so impressed with the iDrive 5 I haven't bothered.
You go first and let me know
)
EDIT: Others reports of non-BMW Car Play seem poor to average so, like you, I'm unsure.

I have tried on-line entertainment via Weezer and its brilliant. There are in excess of 4m tracks available for £160/year.

Are you sure you're talking about Appe CarPlay?

Interesting, I have Apple Music and Amazon Prime - would you say the Online Entertainment is worthwhile for the added integration?

No, not talking about Appl Carplay, just the ability to find any track I want. You can select the tracks you want on a PC/Mac add to a playlist and bingo it's in the car, doesn't take long to download from the internal SIM. If you like your music would definitely recommend

I have Apple Car Play in the Škoda (standard since last year) and have used it a couple of times before reverting back to normal ways of working. It may have improved with IOS10 and really needs a touch screen in the car (which I do have) to make it usable.
I'm not really bothered about Spotify etc, though I can run that via the built in 4G/Wifi service when it hasn't been hijacked to watch Sky Go for Kids by 'him in the back'!
