Good overall condition but two of the internal end caps are missing as shown on picture below, these are cosmetic and don't affect the operation of the bars and as they are location on the inner edges are not really noticeable.

I'm relaibly informed these will also fit the 3 series touring models too...

Where are you based ?

Hi I'm based in Kidderminster which is about 20mins from M5 junction 6.

The postal companies I've looked at only take parcels upto 1.2m in length, If someone can recommend another company who would post larger items at a reasonable cost I would happily organise postage at the buyers cost.

Try parcel2go.com posted a few longish items with them with no issues

My roof bars were posted to me in their original box via Royal Mails parcel delivery no problems - cost about £11/

Right Parcel Force Postage Costs are £11.99 + VAT

Price reduced as I could do with shifting these to help fund my new car purchase, every little helps as they say!

Sadly alfamale I would say that you are not very reliably informed, as the e53 bars are far to wide for a 3 series Touring (e46) or 5 series Touring (e39) yes the fitting instructions state all 3 models but the lenghts of the bars are different. I know from previous ebay experience

Unless the bars are too short in length then yes, otherwise the clamping section is adjustable in that it loosens and slides along bar to suit roof rail position...

Yep the clamps are adjustable so can be positioned anywhere along the X5 roof rails. It's probably this adjustment that enables Alfa to quote on the fitting instructions that it will fit both X and 3 Series.


To clarify no instructions are included in this sale as it's stupidly simple to fit them
