Strange!!! E70 2010 ignition won't come on

Hi guys,

Wondered if anyone has experienced what's happening to my e70 or anyone got any ideas as to what could be wrong with it.

It unlocks  and locks using the fob but when I put the key in the ignition, it does nothing. No lights on the cluster, key not 'clicking' nothing. Tried disconnecting the battery for a while and reconnecting but nothing, had jump leads on it in case it was a battery issue. Was fine as I had been driving it for a while and went to the shop. Came out and this happens!

The radio works, car locks and unlocks but nothing else. Also the steering isn't locked.

Any ideas?
