looking at upgrading car audio to DAB
any tips or recommended systems.
car is 2009 x5 msport.

Where do you live?  DAB services seem to be a bit hit/miss in parts of the U.K. With the SE corner being bad due to its proximity to the Continent (frequencies shared with French TV).

Where I use it, Cambs/Beds/Herts/Bucks/Lincs it works just fine in all our cars as an OEM fit.  A decent aerial is key for the retrofit systems unless using OEM throughout.

There is an 'official' BMW system which used to be based on the PURE hardware.  It uses a separate controller and connects into the car audio, and also uses a short external antenna (8" if memory serves).

just sick of standard fm reception in the x5 worse radio Iv had.
been looking at these or just found out that bmw are doing upgrades for £300 all in.

Hi,i had dab retrofitted to my 08 car,it is an aftermarket one but looks just like factory on the idrive screen,try searching dab i put up some pics of how it looked.

thats what im after. whats the name, where from and how much please.
