2006 X3 3.0d manual

Post by rockwell » Tue Aug 16, 2016 4:25 pm

Would appreciate clarification on this if someone has a similar car.

Receiving some conflicting info on tyre pressure for my x3 3.0d manual.  Pirelli Scorpion STR 235/55/R17 99H fitted.  these have been on the car for two years and are in very good order as only done 15,000mls.  The tyre fitter said 34 PSI all round is the recommended pressure.  I just read somewhere that front should be 2.2 bar and rear 2.4.

I don't have the usual tyre info sticker on the driver side door so getting a bit dazed and confused in my old age!

Yours should be BAR:

2 front
2.2 rear

Many thanks for that jagr, been running them at 34 all round!  Hopefully no damage done.

Back to the local garage air pump tomorrow morning!
