Front bumper guards.

Guys,

I am wondering what the technical name is for the plastic flaps which attach to the front bumper just in front of the right/left wheel.  I think the previous owner has caught one of them and tore it.

I think they are called the 'Front Pressure Lip'.  I have one missing on my X6 too.  Probably about £20 each!

Part numbers at Item 10 on this parts image.  Same part on the E70 or E71.

I am missing one too what do they do ?
I'd it worth replacing ?

At a guess modify the airflow away from the tyres and under the car.  I think they are part of the Efficient Dynamics system?
