E70 sat nav screen glitch?

Hi
When i have the display screen on the dashboard in split mode it shows the map on the LHS and other information on the RHS. If i end the guidance of the sat nav destination the RHS screen should stop showing arrow directions and return to showing the position of the vehicle i.e longitude and latitude but the screen goes blank. If i stop the engine and restart the car then everything works normally again. Does anyone have this problem?
