E83 Rear Wiper Motor & Jet Issue

Hi folks, I have a 2004 E83 and my rear wiper has stopped pointing north.  When trying to use the wiper stalk no sound comes from the wiper itself and not water can be squirted out.  But whilst trying to move the wiper back to its original horizontal position, it kinda goes back and then water/washer starts to squirt out.
Is this the symptom of needing a new wiper motor?

Have you checked the rear drivers side carpet?

Hi jagr, all dry there if you're thinking the leak is from the pipe on the drivers side carpet.
Would a leak lead to the rear wiper to not work though?
