Lovely as my E63 is proving to be i'm really missing my old V8 E53 and think if the right car/deal is available i will come back to an X5 E70

If anyone has a nice example, (M spec preferred) or maybe knows of one for sale i'd really appreciate a PM

Cursory research suggests an upper budget of £20K would procure a very nice one with less than 50K on it, so that's my basic criteria 

Hi if your are after the E70 in 4.8 there are a few about on pistonheads worth a look and are usually cheaper than the diesel versions around

I've been trawling such places and didn't find many that meet my mileage criteria but i'll take another look now and monitor 

Gathering you are probably aware of the annual road tax on these.....great cars though.
