Hi all,
* Please note that I’m writing this ad all in good faith, if knowledgeable members of the forum find something not 100% accurate then that would be lack of my knowledge or a typing mistake and not by intention so will be happy to amend that *
I bought an E70 and now selling my 4.8iS, here are some details feel free to get in touch - my number is 07974160992.
Bought the car in 2009 and loved it ever since. First registered on 15.10.2004 to BMW Farnborough and then a local private owner (owner of construction company) owned the car until 2009 when I became 2nd private owner.
Car came with BMW insured warranty and I kept it since then so it's still under insured warranty.
The car is as original as it came out of the factory, all the body kit etc is factory fitted and I made only one mod - changed the angel eye bulbs to LED (only because one failed, otherwise I don't like messing with car).
*Everything* is working as intended, all the electrics, self-levelling suspension, pan roof, etc except PDC sometimes play up. No dead pixels on the dashboard.
Some specs:
- It's a 4.8iS with 4.8L normal aspirated engine producing 360bhp Steptronic
- Exclusive Nappa leather in black, no rips, etc
- Fully electric + Heated front seats with full memory
- Front seats with lumber support (pumps air with a button in two separate areas in the backrest where lower/middle back rests)
- Fully electric steering wheel adjustment
- Dipping, auto dimming, folding door mirrors
- Auto dimming rear view mirror with digital compass
- Universal remote control with three button integrated overhead
- Adaptive Headlights + Xenon
- Sat Nav + Voice Control + Bluetooth
- BMW 6 CD changer + HiFi Professional DSP + tape player
- Rain sensor + auto lights
- Speed limiter removed
- lower tax bracket, chrome grills, chrome vents, V Spoke style 168 factory fitted alloys.
- Carbon Black
- Panaromic sunroof, fully working (frame replaced at the end of 2009 under BMW warranty, sunroof serviced)
- Xenon self levelling headlamps (with cornering I believe), auto on/off
- 20" wheels
- All wheel self-leveling suspension with a button to lower/raise
- electronic speed limiter removed
- Front/rear PDC
- Typre pressure monitor
- auto wiper rain sensors
Service & Repairs:
All the routine services were done at the dealership since new however as for rest of the repair/maintenance work depending upon whether it was covered under warranty or not it was either done at the dealership or at my trusted BMW-only indy specialist during my ownership. Never took it to any other garage for any mechanical work.

Mileage stands at just over 112k. There are some scratches on the body work.
MOT until Jan 2017, Last service 1k miles ago. It also falls outside higher tax band. Non-smoker package, never been smoked in, no pets been in the car or the boot. During my ownership I always parked it in the garage (safe from sun and rain) and looked after it very well. No accidents at all or any body repairs. It comes with full user manuals, other booklets, etc in original leather case complete with full set of keys (2x remote + 1x template). Tyres are in very good condition, front are genuine Michelin Diamaris with between 4-5mm thread, size is 275 40 20. At the back are Toyo Proxy fitted only about 4k miles ago so plenty of thread left, size is 315 35 30. No errors recorded in the memory.
I’d invite some opinions from experienced forum members on the price of £7.5k which is what I’d like to achieve. If it doesn’t sell or fetches too low then I’ll probably keep it for commuting
Thanks for view, now some pictures (not taken very well I'm afraid):
