hELP ME WITH sat nav software upgrade
Re: hELP ME WITH sat nav software upgrade
The only advice that can be given as a posted on this forum is to contact your BMW dealer or to maybe look at buying used, (but newer than yours), previously dealer supplied original discs on ebay etc.
Other owners have chosen alternative options to the dealer route but for legal reasons these cannot be openly discussed on this publicly viewable forum.
I hope you understand our position & I must clarify & add that I am not suggesting or infering you sought improper information. If anything my post here is made so as to avoid any issue(s) from folk who may wish to share alternative advice, ( however ell motivated their intentions).
Sorry I cant be of more use.

Unfortunately with both the manufacturers 'sensitivity' to the off the reservation upgrades etc, there is no choice.
Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

Point of Interest - how are aftermarket maps any different in principle to any other aftermarket parts as sold by ECP, Partco, QH, Halfords etc. etc.?
