Hi all
So I looked under the engine cover today in my e70 40d. I noticed and air filter of some type (generally circular) stacked up with leaves and general grime. My question is
What filter is it ? Cabin air intake?
Should it be so dirty already give. I had it serviced only 800 miles ago?

Ok, looked into it - not a standard service item! Time ti replace

Engine filter.  Cabin one is inside - I think.

Must look at mine too 

Yep - tried hovering out but no joy. New one ordered £30 inc Delivery so will fit that when it arrives on Wednesday - should improve MPG.
