Stuck Boot Lid?

Anyone encountered a Boot Lid that won't open on their X3?
I'd had mine refuse to open on a number of occasions and have it in the garage for a lock replacement.
You can hear the unlock mechanism click (using the remote), but there is no movement of the boot lid itself (usually it opens a bit upon unlocking).
Pressing the manual button doesn't have any effect at all when this happens. It's as if it's stuck to the rubber liner...
Touch wood, replacement fixes it.
