As above,on my previous F15 and in Wife's Mini calls to my iPhone 6 show name of caller on drive screen (if in contacts) but not on my new F25.
Any ideas?

if it has it sync'd with the phone as it shows the number is there a the phone settings menu as I know on my e70 it displays the name

Mine does the same thing, yet my old E60 would display the name. We must be missing a trick here,  as my Samsung Note 4 is fully synced up (i can read, or have read out my emails etc)

I also had this issue with an iPhone6
Some contacts displayed the name, and others the number.
The problem was caused by hsving "iPhone" as the field name/descriptor for the mobile number.
Once they were changed to "mobile" everything was fine.
Presumably it's one of those little BMW/Apple software idiosyncrasies.

Are you saying i need to change something on the phone settings or car settings,  and what exactly?

You need to edit your Contacts data in the iPhone.
The Label associated with the mobile number needs to say "mobile" NOT "iPhone"
I'll post a screen shot tonight if you need it

Have done that but doesn't make any difference.As I said only doesn't show caller ID on F25 2016 3.5d but does on present mini and on previous F15

I haven't had a chance to play with the settings in the car and on the phone yet, but i can't believe we don't get caller id on our phone contacts.  If i do a search for a particular person using the iDrive trackball - it works, therefore it has to be a setting that we're missing?
