To sell or not to sell, now, later, never ??

Hi all. Again good advice is needed by you guys. I bought a new nissan juke a few weeks ago to replace our run around car, a 3 and half year kia picanto which we owned from new and looked after. 25K on clock & full kia service history and over 3 years kia warranty remaining. Was offered very silly trade in price off £3000 which was upped to £3300 when told it was diamond bright at new. Similar ones for sale in my area are going for around £5000 at the time we put down deposit. Now i could not let it go for that daft price so i kept it and decided i will sell private. Days after we put down deposit, was told there is a chance the wife could be made redundant in July >:D >:D
Now the new juke drives really great and i have to admit its really surprised me how good it is after i have had bad experiences with nissan years ago.! bit higher up driving position and it showing over 50MPG all ready and not done 300 miles yet local driving and lots off gizmos for a medium range car. So i might be tempted to sell the X5 if wife does get bad news in the coming months.
Now this is where i need HELP, my car was an approved X5 when i purchased it and ive only let BMW touch it in my 2 years ownership almost. I renewed the BMW warranty when i had it a year and its due in the next month for service (BIG one & brake fluid) and MOT (only ever touched by BMW Derby from new) So, now summers coming, i guess demand will be down a little and i guess value also, so do i wait until say Autumn time or get rid as soon as serviced & MOT'd ??
Sorry for going on but trying you put you in the picture and thanks for reading it, Mark
