Thanks, the picture was taken before they 'cleaned' it. but since driving away had noticed they hadn't done a proper clean, there was still a sweet in the glove box!
The wheels were a lot cleaner, but maybe because they got someone in to fix where they had been damaged.
I'm still working out how things work, such as home lights cant seem to get them to work.

Welcome aboard to you. Nice car and lovely colour. I wanted that on my X6 but wasn't allowed by 'Financial Control'. It wasn't a standard colour so was a pricey option. Ho hum.

Glad the ended up being a bit cleaner, just pulling your leg re: previous comment
I think I am correct on saying those 22" wheels aren't BMW OEM. I had always been lead to understand that you coundn't sell a car via the AUC system if it had non OEM kit on it. Maybe things have changed.
I don't use the home lights function, but from memory don't you have to set the delay time via the iDrive? when this is done is it not just a case of taking the key out of the ignition and the pulling and holding the headlight stalk for a few seconds?

The wheels are not oem, nothing was mentioned when i bought it, although they have put bmw centres on them.
I will try the home lights, thanks

Ok, let us know what happens. Just noticed your 'X' has the optional 'Aero Pack' a very nice option indeed

Tried the home lights and work as you said thanks.
This will probably be a stupid question but how do you drive the autobox?
do you just put in Drive and leave it?
push leaver to left to DS?
or move to left and use manual shift, which also seems to change automatically so what is the difference.
Thanks

Put it to drive and leave it. Is this ur first auto. Mine was a similar experience. I had to take my friend with me for the delivery of the car as I had never driven auto before.
