Has anyone actually used it in anger?
Does it work?
Did it seal the puncture?
Any experiences of it welcome. Thank you.

I've used it before, got me out of the situation but mad such a mess of the insides of the tyre that I couldn't get it repaired

Yeah I get the mess it creates, but I'm looking for a solution to the whole run flat vs no run flats , no spare scenario.
It sounds like the gunk does work then, and shouldn't leave me stranded on the side of the road.

One other option is to install 'Puncturesafe' into the tyres.  I used to use its previous version in the motorbike tyres as it can save your life.  It is something that the Caravan Club used to recommend and some Ambulance/Police services used.  It had two punctures in a rear motorbike tyre which both got controlled by this stuff so I know it works.

It's a water based fluid that you add in to a deflated wheel, pump back up again and go for a 20 minute drive.  That spreads it around the inside as a coating.  No effect on tyre/wheel balance.  If you get a puncture it oozes out and sets.

Being water based it just wipes away so tyres can be repaired.  Allegedly it extends the life of the tyres too, but I have nothing to support that, and motorcycle rear tyres don't last much more than 6-7,000 miles at best - unless you like the exposed cord look  :o

It's not cheap though, and these cars need a lot because of the wheel sizes.  It was about £40 for a car.

Now the sounds like a good alternative, prevention rather than cure !?!?!
