i have just had 4 new michelin tyres and 4 wheel laser alignment at my local ats and while it doesnt pull to the left as much it still pulls a little so i have to have the steering wheel held slightly to the right to keep in a straight line.
any ideas?

How old are the front lower arms and track rods? Could be down to play in the suspension linkages causing movement.

Did they give you before & after printouts for the 4 wheel alignment?

As mention above 4 wheel alignment is done with the car stationary on a ramp, when the car is driving down the road any worn bushes can move around due to the stresses put on them in normal driving, so steering the car in another direction.

easy one to try here...
Check the strut top bolts...
They are mounted in a slot, giving 3/4 of a degree adjustment...
Check they are the same both sides.
Until any other sloppy joints are remedied, you may be able to tune out the pull to left by moving the strut-tops of either/both of the struts & cancel out the suspension pull.
It has worked for me before.
Obviously, you need to put it straight when you replace the joint.
Check the alignment print-out to see if there is a Camber variance between the front wheels.. which you may be able to correct as described above.
