We need an extender for when we have our neice in the car, and it becomes difficult to have her buckled up with two other rear passengers.
I bought one from ebay, but it only clips into the window seats.
Any ideas?
Is this true of all beemers?
Why would they make the middle receptacle different?

Probably to stop you doing it? I think it's the same in my Skoda. Only approved for outboard seats. Don't know why it should be the case though. Some wierd EU regulation no doubt!

Errmmmmm.........in that case I'm still puzzled, but it could still be one of those silly regs!

The buckle with the notch at the end is the one for the centre seat.
If i can't buy one, then the only solution will be to purchase another rear (window) seat extender, which will help the passengers either side of my neice (i hope)

Are they all 3-point or is the middle one just a lap belt?
I can't see any logical reason to do what has been done, unless it's a mandated type approval/construction rule. It must be cheaper to fit three identical ones!

All of them are 3 point seat belts. I just don't understand the difference. Will quiz the dealership next time I'm passing.
