Going to put my 4.4i sport up for sale but not many about. Does anyone have any idea what I should be asking?

Basic details are Silver, 2004 Facelift, 77K, NAV, FBMWSH. Had a main dealer service and brake fluid 3 weeks ago. Also had all pads and an MOT done last week.

The best thing to do is go on Autotrader, Pistonheads and Ebay, etc, and see what other people/traders are selling similar cars for. Then you can pitch the asking price to suit yourself ...and be competitive if you want to.

There are currently 11 2004 4.4i Sport X5's on Autotrader, starting at £3,995. So I reckon you should pitch your asking price somewhere between £4k and £8k, depending on how good you think your car is, how urgently you need to sell it and what kind of salesman you are!
