The only manuals that have appeared are from the US by Bentley Manuals. They don't cover any of the diesel or European models.
There are on line manuals, but they may not cover the X1......older models seem to be covered in detail, but not the newer ones.
The ones I gave seen and used are 'copies' of the BMW Workshop Manuals themselves. There used to be a really good on line version but it got 'taken down' by legal actions.
