Suggest some replacement Staggered tyres for X3 2014 F25

Hi all,

My X3 2014 F25 is close to requiring a new set of tyres.

Currently have a staggered setup on Pirellia P Zero Run Flats: Front 245/45 R19 98Y and Rear: 275/40 R19 101Y. The above Pirellis are classed as Summer Tyres.

I want to stick with a staggered setup with Runflats and have BMW Star rating tyres, which restricts the choices, but I'm fine with that and just after some advice.

In your opinion, should I stick with Pirellia P Zero or try a different brand? The Pirellis are rated poor for fuel economy but are ok with the dry/wet.

I would prefer an all year round tyre which performs in all conditions, not just summer. The weather is on/off here in the UK all year round, but I haven't been able to find an all-season with BMW star rating in a staggered setup.

The Pirelli is an old tyre, so I was thinking of maybe Bridgestone or some of the other brands like Michelin etc.

Anyone offer up any suggestions??? I find the lower the tread has gone, the more uncomfortable the ride has gotten, not to mention the road noise increase on the Pirellis

Thanks

If it's of any use, on the X6 I had Dunlop SP Sportmaxx RFT at delivery and the service life was dreadful (15k miles).  Now got Bridgestone RFT on and they seem better.  Noise is about the same, as is the ride quality on 20" rims.  Handling and grip are fine.

Hey sharpharp,  we are on the same tyres and staggered setup.  I'm looking at various tyre makes, but the biggest restriction appears to be the all season tyres that you mention. I can find them for our fronts, but they don't come in 275/40/19. I like to have the same tyre on all 4 corners.

Thanks for the replies,

I'm happy to stay on a staggered setup, so its more the brand of tyre I'd like advice on.

I would go for a different make. The P zero is an older tyre
