On the verge of buying a pre-lci X5 SE

I'm on the verge of replacing the family car with a 2009 X5, it's pre-LCI but it's a late 2009 so does have the CIC Idrive.

I've been a BMW fan for a while now and have had various BMWs including a 320d pre-lci and my current LCI E91 330d.

The model I'm hoping to buy is a 3.0d SE; it has the dynamic & media packages and also adaptive drive.  Is there is anything in particular I need to look out for? (It will have the BM AUC warranty)  Ideally I would buy an LCI X5 but the budget won't quite stretch and the updated iDrive is more important to me than the 245PS engine & 8 speed gearbox.

Most of the equipment is the same as my E91 with the exception of the comfort seats and adaptive drive. Is the adaptive drive reliable? I've seen posts that suggest it's expensive when it goes wrong.

Adaptive drive is quite rare I think as not any spec'd it

I've been in a car with and and without and can feel the difference when going round a corner
Keeps the car more stable with and without the front end seems to dig in and sway/ lean more

Comfort seats are nice with additional seat options
Think that's also with the steering wheel automatically going up and down when turning on and off which is gt getting in  and out of car

Probably not too much to worry about if it has approved used warranty, just make sure it's past is clear. In a shameless plug, you could bid on my LCI model, if it's within your budget. Also comes with AUC warranty.
