Hi folks, is the exterior silver/chrome window trim on the f25 model an optional extra? Can't seem to find it online for aftermarket fitting. Any comments helpful, thanks

It's normally specced at build.  The option used to be Piano Black, or Chrome.  You would probably need to talk to BMW and order the parts through their system.

Have a look at Realoem and use the last 7 characters of you VIN to find your vehicle type.  It will most likely be under 'Vehicle Trim'.  That should give you part numbers, and possibly a retrofit kit (if you are really lucky) to find online..
