Hi All,

I need to collect my new used BMW X5 next week from the dealer :)

It is 2008 X5 3.0TD xDrive30d SE.

My question is what are the tool kits and manuals that must come with the car?

I already now there must be a tool kit with gear release tool.

I assume it must have some kind of printed owners manual booklet?

Anything else I must check? Is there any DVD/Audio system code or pin cards? Probably it must have wheels lock key tool, is there a jack comimg with it?

thank you

Several printed manuals (owners manual, service booklet, warranty, tow bar (if fitted) guide).

No codes as they are all linked to the main computer.

Wheel key is a yes.

No jack....no spare as you have run flat tyres.  A previous owner might have specced them, but otherwise they won't be there.

The transmission release key might be there, but many weren't provided.  If the key slot is in place under the left front cup holder bottom cover, then you should have one.

Hello,

Mine is a 2008 3.0d and it came with the following:

In a "leather wallet"
Owner's manual
Additional manual for the communications pack/telephone system installed
Service record book

3 keys - 2 normal fobs and a wallet key with the adapter for it installed in the glove box

In a storage space above the battery below a lift-up floor in the luggage space
a small spanner
screwdriver
locking when nut adapter
screw-in towing eye
orange transmission key

In a storage space behind a near-side panel in the luggage space
warning triangle
first aid kit.

There is no jack as there is no spare wheel - the car is fitted with run-flat tyres.

Hope this helps,

Graeme
