Which blue to go for, or possibly silver ??!

At last, the order has now gone in for a 40d M sport! But what colour to go firm on?
I'm undecided between Deep Sea Blue (currently specified), Azurite Black or possibly one of the silvers. The DSB looks great, very classy, although possibly a bit bright for my taste (if being picky) in the sun. The Azurite looks a fantastic dark blue in the sun but almost black when the light's not so good. Then there's a silver X5 parked down the road (not sure which shade - probably pearl) which looks stunning too!
What are others views on the different colours out there?? Any views much appreciated!!

What interior are you going for? DSB looks very nice IMO and an advantage as not to many around in this colour yet

Can't see the point in paying extra for a pearl silver and think that an MSport in Titanium looks to much/to bright, again my opinion.
I think Plantium Grey looks very nice, but I would say that

. Its also a new colour to the e70 like DSB

This is a hard one for me as I generally just like black or silver I looked as the DSB which is a great colour but got worried might get bored of it, as chompers said what interior have you gone for.

Thanks for the views. I'm going for the Oyster interior - I know some prefer black but I prefer a lighter colour. Shame is I haven't actually seen a DSB, only photos on the net. Does it look a bit bright in the sun? If I go for a blue, I'd prefer a classic looking one ... interesting point re Titanium.

Looked at DSB when I bought my Touring and probably would have one for it until I came across the car I ended up buying. Only seen one car in DSB and it didn't look too bright to me. Have you looked on the AUC site to see if any dealers near you have an e70 in DSB near you?

Good to hear it didn't look too bright. I really should try and track one down to take a look at as you suggest. What is the AUC site?

Thanks for the thougths - been looking on BMW website and may take a look this weekend.
Rusty nail - thanks. Even though it's a very subtle red, red is one of those colours I would only want on one particular make of car, and I couldn't fit the kids in it and they'd be sick if I could !!

Did you not consider Monaco Blue for your e70? and IIRC Carbon Black isn't available on the e70 anymore, guess Azurite Black is to close to it and allowa BMW to make more money

as it's an 'Individual' option.
May help the value of yours when you p/x against one of those 4 circle cars with the 'Get Out Of The Way Lights'

Great to hear the positive feedback on DSB 535dboy - looks like that will be the one! Interestingly I looked on the AUC site as suggested by Chompers, and there are a load of v low mileage X5 40d se's on there, all DSB - turns out they are ex BMW company cars!
The Carbon black colour is still available. There are a ton of blacks in fact. Carbon, Sapphire, Azurite, Ruby. Only one that has much colour i.e. apart from silvers, greys and blacks, is the DSB!
So are you going for your Cayenne Turbo talking of 450bhp?
