Hi all,

I hav just purchased a 2002 3.0 petrol and I have a couple of problems someone may be able to help with.

When I first start the car all speakers work fine for about 30 seconds then the passenger side speakers cut out and dont work again, Passenger wing mirror does not work, Passenger window will not work from drivers button and the passenger front door will not lock or unlock from remote, could they be linked?.

I have also noticed the multi changer is missing from the passenger side cubby hole in the boot, I can see it sat under the sat nav drive and there are a few loose multi plugs sitting there. Does anybody know which changer will fit and plug in?

Lastly I am getting a knocking from the front end which I suspect is a worn bush or drop link, is there a known problem with a particular bush on the front before I start to investigate?

The knocking at the front could be any of the bushes. Easiest just to get the front up and wobble the wheel about. If no play is felt in the bushes it will be the anti roll bar to chassis bushes as when the suspension is extended they are under tension.
Passenger door problems seem linked- broken wire/connection poss..
Ebay for a cd changer to plug in.

Needs to be a BMW one though, to make sure you have the right connections.  No idea who makes the OEM one.
