X5m fuel economy

Hi

Having owned a x5 40d for over a year im looking at a m50d or a x5m

Whats putting me off is the fuel economy, yes i know im setting myself up here for the 'if you want economy buy a diesel golf' im wanting to know what real world mpg figures are like from people that have or do own a x5m. Im well aware that bmw's quoted figures are plucked out the sky and doubled so cannot be relied on.

Ive had many large v8 4x4s and trucks so have a rough idea what to expect.

Any info on real world mpg will be much appreciated

not had an x5m but having owned a ml63 i imagine the figures would be similar, i got 12 local, 16/17 and a max absolute max motorway 65 cruise on of 22, hope that helps, when raging it i wouldnt even like to think!
