Does any one know if these are standard equipment on M Sport models, and if so when they were first fitted?

Its a BMW .. Optional extra  At least it is in the X4.. Looks like it may be standard on the M Sport X5?

I thought it was, but our Mar 15 car doesn't have it!

Our March 15 plate has them but they were an extra then, seem to be standard now though from what the build on line shows.

Most likely a change with the new build year?  Competition probably offer it so BMW now have to as well.

It's all about sales figures, not customer convenience  >:(

I can confirm its standard option now.

Power folding mirrors!

He's asking what does a standard option mean.

I think we're talking about power folding mirrors becoming a standard feature rather than an optional extra hence "standard option"

So far as I can remember, power folders were an option when I purchased mine in September 2014, however I think they also came as part of the" Comfort" front seat option which I  opted for.

I think they were introduced mid year. On my November 2013 they were an optional extra but my August 2015 build had them as standard, from memory they were introduced in early 2015 but cannot recall which week. What is the build date of yours?

Jan 2015 (wk4). I guess they weren't standard at that point.
