Does anyone know if BMW supply aftermarket black radiator grills? If so, a part number would be great - my local dealer's parts dept aren't the brightest!
Thanks

Don't forget the before and after photos to complete the post. It may help others make a decision if to do the same upgrade/ change.
Personally I prefer the chrome outer. But BMW offer Shaddow line trim that deletes all the chrome.
A lot of Msport cars now come de chromed. My Msport 3 series has the chrome surround on the kidney grilles but de chromed window trim.
I think different colour cars suit the Shaddow line, others suit chrome.

Will do. Not even taken delivery yet, and already buying bits for it!
It has Shadow Line window surrounds already, so this mod will match - might do some other subtle black mods too.

Has anyone done this mod - are there any clips etc. that are likely to break when I swap them over?

Looks good, black was our second choice of colour. We've had 2 black Discos, and fancied a change.

Got them fitted. About 20 mins, and sore arms to remove the originals, and 5 secs to fit the new ones!
Before
After
Excuse the state of the car, the roads around us are in a real mess at the moment!

BMW never puts things in a way to take them apart easily......how else are they going to make exorbitant labour sums if things were easy.... >:D
As an example, 9 hours to change a starter motor! Just over 15 mins was putting the new one in. The rest was removing and refitting the crap around it.

Try Land Rover! We've just got rid of a Disco 4 - it had blown a rear crank oil seal, £1k just to get the engine out (not main dealer price either!). The whole of the front of the car had to be removed!

Jon, The Black grills look so much better. I have one on order (same colour combo as you) and its the first thing I will have to do.
