£13k for an '07 X3 3.0SD

Post by jagr » Thu Dec 03, 2015 8:25 pm

Hi All,

Just about to do a deal for a Demo+1 owner SD with 52k miles.
It has satnav and leather.
Price £13k

Does this sound reasonable?
Are they generally reliable?

Thanks

Pocket rocket, more reliable than the 2.0 d, sounds like a reasonable price with low miles.

I recently paid 7k for a 2007 2.0d 2 owners 64000 miles. Full service history.

No sat nav though.

I bought it. Drives very well, only downside is I didn't check the road tax cost  £490

Still think its worth it for the grin factor though.

That was a very good deal. For under £10k at the moment has only brought up cars I would not have purchased.
I am very picky.
Since mine was stolen I have looked at 8 and enquired about another 9 which had all sold within 48hrs of listing.
Up until this one I came really close to buying an Audi Q5.
As much as it was a lovely car I have a soft spot for BMW's ugly duckling.

Glad to see you've got  a car sorted, there seems to be massive price difference in cars on offer. But like you say it's hard to find one that ticks all the boxes. When I was buying the 3 series I was adamant that I wanted IDrive and Nav and Bluetooth. It narrowed the choice down dramatically.and bumped the price up too.
shame about the Tax bracket, I thought BMW would have reduced the CO2 as they did with the X5 SD.( ah, just realised, the 2007 X5's were also the high tax bracket too, until later on in the year

Don't complain, I pay the same for 68 bhp less.

Glad to see you found a good one too after your recent issues.
