Hi i am selling my X5 as i do not do enough mileage to really keep it, 6 miles a day to and from work and then maybe the same at the weekend results in me taking it for a blast every couple of months on the motorway which i really dont have the time to do.

Being a forum member here i am going to be honest, there is nothing wrong with my X5 whatsoever, i recently gave a work colleague a jump start and for some reason my airbag light has come on but when i get the time i will see if this will be resolved by doing a reset.

When i first bought my X5 it was running at around 20% i can honestly say this car is now running at 100% and is a very good runner for its age. I had a problem with smoke but a member here gave me some good advice and the smoke if any is standard for a diesel.

Good points:
128,000 Miles on the clock
Riva DTM 20” Black Alloys 10.5 rear 9.5 front with new tyres minor scuffs
Electric sunroof
MOT until June 2016
Tax until November 2016 (not sure how this works nowadays)
Private Plate X5 OKK
Private Tracker Which can be removed if needed
Brand new Yuasa 5020 Battery with 5 years warranty
Automatic Gearbox
Been serviced By myself three times in 3 years and I have also changed all the glow plugs.
Recently fully tracked and all arms, wishbones and track rods changed
Portable phone in armrest

Bad Points:
Drivers side rear window does not go up or down
Drivers side window sticks
Parking sensors are not working but I have four new ones in the glove box with cases which I have not got round yet to fitting.
Might need new wipers

Additional Information:

When I bought the car they had just switched off the analogue signal so the TV did not work, there was no DVD disc in the nav unit so that also did not work so I removed the lot but I still have them if needed.

The car at present has a Pioneer AVH-8500BT Head Unit which allows you to connect your phone via Bluetooth to play music etc. It is also compatible with iphones which allows you to run apps like navigation through the head unit. The head unit also plays DVDs, takes an SD card and has an additional connection for an ipod/usb stick. I have freeview TV installed along with two headrest screens in the rear so if you have a family any rear passengers can watch TV also. This unit also works through the steering wheel to adjust volume and select music tracks. This equipment at the time cost me £1700.00 last year, including amps and subwoofer, it is now used so I am willing to sell it all with the car if required for half price being £850.

i have the original headrest, and some additional parts if needed.

Work done:
Changed the Oil breather/separator Filter to the modern Vortex breather
Disc and pads all round
Been serviced and had oil change three times in three years
New Tyres all round
All arms, bushes, track rods and links changed at the front of the car then it was tracked
Sports Air filter
changed the fuel filter
Changed the gear box oil
Alternator and belts changed
Brand new battery with 5 Years Warranty ( i work for a company that sells batteries)
I purchased the car with only one key

Hope this helps, if you are interested please let me know if you want the in car entertainment as it will take me a while to remove.

I am asking for £4500 ono including the private plate and will negotiate with the price if you require the in car entertainment. any questions feel free to ask. you can call me on 07831 499 814 - Patrick
