I don't wish to be a party pooper, but is this not inherently dangerous and could cause a few issues for you from a legal perspective? If I understand the law correctly, should you have an accident and it is discovered you had a film/tv program on that the driver can see, your insurance is highly unlikely to cover you and could end up being charged with "driving without due care and attention" or "reckless driving". Best invest in a couple of screens for the back and an iPad or other tablet for your front passenger.
As I say I am not trying to spoil things, just think it would be wise to make sure as a driver you are not at risk.

It comes under the 'Vehicle Construction & Use' regulations. Breach them at your own peril.
