I'm looking for a manual so that I can do more jobs myself - Haynes (and Im not a great fan) don't appear to have any - I've heard about the Bentley manual but its very expensive - do the forumites recommend it ?

Some say it's good others are more critical but it's the only source out there which claims to also cater for those starting off with car d.i.y. on their E53 X5's.

Been wondering the same, but it doesn't cover the Diesel engined versions - (no comments about serves you right for buying a truck!!)

Given the number out there I would have thought at least someone might have done it. I guess the only option is to try and get hold of a copy of what BMW use, but that might be easier said than done!!

Yes, have the manual (Bentley) , but is for the E53 and petrol only
Still it covers everything else.
As I posted , if you want to know anything (within reason) let me know.
