Hello all,
I picked up my X5 E70 3.0SD three months ago. I used to have an 645ci before and an X5 E53 before that. I have to say being used to the speed of the 645 I though I would be disappointed by the X5, but I have to say the SD goes like the clappers. Especially after I had it remapped at Jason's, the car does 0-60 in a very respectable 6.2sec!!!
I do have some plans for minor modifications to it. So far all I had done was the Remap, and just had the paint restored by a specialist. After the restoration, the carbon black really pops out.

Below are some pics of Xena (that's her name)

looking good.  I would be tempted with vinyl wrapping the window surround, getting another set of grills to mix it up a bit ( easy swap ) gloss black and those wheels look freat both in hyper silver and gloss black.

enjoy

I think my next mod is going to be wrapping the interior trim. I have the aluminium trim that has loads marks on it (the previous owner must have been wearing loads of rings and bracelets when driving). I am thinking of wrapping it either in carbon fibre, or piano black. I am still at the reading stages on how to remove all the trim.
