The car was supplied new by Berry BMW Chiswick, and serviced by them until it was part exchanged just over 3 years ago (Nov 2012) having covered 24 thousand miles. It was then supplied to me as an ‘approved used’ car. It has been serviced and maintained by Soper BMW in Lincoln ever since, including MOT’s. I have all previous MOT’s and a file of paperwork for all the work that has been carried out on the car, and verifying the mileage. During my tenure the care has been serviced annually rather than using the service indicator system. In effect it has been over serviced! It had brand new discs and pads all round in August this year, is refreshed by my detailer every Saturday, and is comprehensively detailed every 6 months. There are some stone chips on the bonnet and a small scratch on the lower tailgate. Other thank that the car is perfect.
I will let the photographs speak for themselves, they were taken in August this year while the car was being detailed. My car is in fantastic condition, inside and out. The wheels were refurbished 18 months ago and are in very good condition, new tyres were fitted when the wheels were refurbed. I fitted new wheel nuts in August because the old ones were rusty, the centre caps for the wheels were also replaced at the same time! I have recently fitted new side repeaters as well, they were going green inside.
There is now an Intravee fitted in lieu of the CD autochanger, BMW dog guard, and a set of winter wheels and tyres, I will include these as part of the sale.
The car has no known faults, 5 green service lights, and everything works as intended The ‘approved used’ warranty expired yesterday 31/10/2015.
The car is for sale because I have purchased a 2012 Range Rover ‘Autobiography’ and turned down the part exchange price offered. I would prefer my X5 to go to a home that will continue to lavish the love and care it has received all its life, good E53’s are hard to find, and mine is one of the best. There is only one negative for the car, it is expensive to tax as it was registered after March 1st 2006. I think it is £490/year.
Price, a firm £11,750 will secure the car, although I will listen to sensible offers, and will include 6 months tax as part of the sale.
I would recommend viewing, and driving the car for your own piece of mind prior to purchasing. I am not advertising the car anywhere else, yet.
