This is now available from the DVLA: https://mot-history.net/

Interesting information about any car's history, including advisories. Only issue I have found with it, is that if a car has had a private plate on it, the information is not complete.

Looks like they have updated it - no more Serial number needed from the V5 to complete the check. Progress!

Unless they moved to a private plate perhaps?

My old X5 does not show up at all on the search, which is a bit of ashame as I would have liked to have been nosey.

The plate that is now on my Porsche shows all the MOT results of my M up to last year where I sold it, so the new owner would not be able to find the history as it is all on my plate.
