Has anybody got a spare bulb kit for an E70?
I'm driving through France next month and understand I should have one.
The X5 bulbs are a bit expensive so I was thinking about winging it with a generic £7 kit off eBay... unless anybody can point me in the right direction of a kit?

Re: Spare bulb kit?
We went to France in the car a couple of weeks ago, I researched a little on what was needed.
Breathalizers are no longer enforced, most French drivers don't bother with spare bulbs, as stated the cheap eBay ones just have random bulbs in that don't suit BMW's. GB number plate stickers or separate GB sticker. I did the Xenon headlight internal switches to alter the aim on the headlight beams ( that reminds me I need to reverse that now ) you have to carry your V5and proof of Insurance, check yours covers you fully Comp abroad, as some don't unless you pay extra (£25 ish ) I also got RAC Euro Breakdown cover, they recommend spare car keys too, but not compulsory.
You need High Viz vests for all occupants IN the car, so you can put them on before stepping out.
Warning triangle, First aid kits are desired, as they want you to be a good Samaraton and give first aid to others if you come across an accident.
Hope you have better weather than we did, came home after 2 days of torrential rain. Even looked at Nice to escape the horrid weather, but that was water logged too, as was Northern Italy. They got the Brunt of the tail end of Huricane Henry :'( :'(

Re: Spare bulb kit?
Cheers for the info, I'm going to Brugge via the tunnel.
I'm just going to get a cheap bulb kit and chuck it in the boot. I have all the other required items.
I was going to take my 911 but figured the X5 would disperse immigrants with more ease...
