Kind of bodged this together whilst ive got 5 minutes......hope this helps a bit

***Just realised that i need to point out this was for a 330d. Same engine and theory just a different car. You might find that you dont need to remove the air filter and fittings as there seems to be enough space to get to the top of the engine.****

Nice one squeaky2!

Very useful to have on the forum!

Finding the right faulty injector must be a case of using a scanner tool, etc? It must then give you a number???

If so, which way do you count - how are they numbered/identified?

oooo good question Sanj.

im going to have to ask the guys at the garage that as i cant actually remember........i think the cylinders are counted from the front of the engine.

For finding the right injector its down to a scanner........fortunately ive got a friendly garage next door to me at work and they've got a Bosch computer thingy i connected up to the car which then gives you the injector values. One of the values was so different to the others that it was quite easy to see which one was the problem.

To be honest actually changing the injector is quite easy its the amount of time it takes to remove all the plastic.
