Ok so went out in the car a couple of times today and all was fine. Just gone back out to it and that error message came up.

I've heard about cars sagging when this happens but car looks and feels fine to drive. Can it be one of those electrical gremlins?

Reason for asking about the gremlins is that ssĀ  got in I hit the fob somehow and locked it and the alarm went off so deactivated and went to start and got the error message - so Ive got out locked it and leaving it the 17 mins necessary to put it to sleep properly and will go back out shortly and post back

Any thoughts in the meantime?

possibly, but its only 8 months old (Bosch Silveer S5) - I reckon it was something to do with the alarm going off as I was trying to start it because if hit the fob and locked the car and I handt let it all reset itself properly. But I will keep en eye on the battery - I checked it earlier but all the readings were as they should be

I have the same issue as you, however mines got read at an independent dealer and it came up with two faults of a ride height sensor

drives fine and isn't sitting so deciding whether to fix or not howver not sure on the cost. you should get it read and see fault codes as a first piece
