Just wondered if anybody has come across the saw tooth wear on both front and rear tyres even though they have  at least 4/5 MM left on them

Had it on the fronts on my E53 and the dealer did something that fixed it.  Can't remember what the problem was now but on mine it only affected the outermost tread block on Diamaris tyres (19").

All the blasted roundabouts in Milton Keynes might have been part of the cause.

Well, I'd never heard of that before so for anyone else, in the same boat, google found this explanation......with pictures.

Reading that it looks like the roundabouts may have been the cause...."too fast cornering".  :-[

Not forgetting the use of BP ultimate instead of the cheaper supermarket fuel.  ;) ;) ::) :)) :)) :P :camera:

Sorry bad joke, but I could not resist it.

Using placebo fuels and having your car serviced at the main stealer will almost halve your o - 60 time and also make your MPG, even on a 4.8, over 20mpg  ::) Yeah, right  :))
