Confirmed that the DVD player is working?
The leads used, are they phono both ends or jack one side to 3 phono on the other?

The small plug on the loom sounds like the aux extension. You need the aux extension lead from the dealer to plug into this.
One of these:
and i've added the pins/connections for both plugs on the tv module for you to check against

Did you refit the damaged tuner or a new one? Perhaps there is some damage to the wiring that feeds both the tv tuner and the cd player given the corrosion that you found on the tuner. Have you checked the connections at the rear of the CD player? I'd take the CD player out and clean the connections well and refit. The tuner as you said, may well now be faulty with the corrosion - did you manage to clean it up completely and spray with electrical contact spray (NOT WD40)?

Maybe theres a problem with the dreaded BM54 module or whatever its called - Sanj and others know more about this fault than I do, and I think Jason from Chiptune who is on this forum offers a repair service for it..... sounds like one of these dry joint problems or whatever it is that the pc board of the radio module suffers from..... perhaps a PM to Jason ???
