Welcome Steve!

I had a similar problem a while ago- mine was self inflicted, reversed into a skip that was on my drive, cracked rear light, water got in, tailgate drain holes blocked so water went down the flexible cable duct and filled up the battery compartment where all the electronics live! There are no drain holes in it, so ended up with about 5cm of water sloshing about, which buggered the suspension control box! Picked up a used unit from eBay (about £60) after draining the battery compartment and fitting new rear light. Quite a costly and annoying affair all round!
In short, could be the control unit gone if the other components are ok...

Best of luck with it
Si
