Towbar, which type?

What make of detachable towbar have people got fitted to their X5? Their seem to be two that I can find, a Witter and a Westfalia. I think the Westfalia may be the type fitted by BMW at source but I am not sure. They are about the same price so I wondered if anyone had any more information on either of the bars. I have had both type fitted to previous cars without any problems with either make.
Graeme.

Westfalia is the OEM fit. Personally I think they are better built than any others I have used including Witter & Bosal.
There's nothing wrong with the others, and I have never had an issue, I just think the quality looks better IMHO.

I fitted a Bosal detachable to mine. Very neat and easy to use, the electics even swivel up out of the way when not in use. I find it better than the Witter that was on my E53. I don't know if it's the same with other bars but you do lose the 2 tow hook screw in points through the bumper though.
Try P F Jones for a great choice and price.
