Replaced glow plugs / controller as engine light came on the X5,
After that engine light on again and threw up EGR valve fault,
Local garage replaced egr and now the following fault codes thrown up [emoji35][emoji35]
Car is Defo in limp mode, struggles to go over 10mph with full pedal pushed!!
Mechanic now saying change the dpf pressure sensor - I'm not filled with confidence - anyone had same issue???

My cars dpf came on firstly the dealership replaced three glow plugs and the glow plug control unit forced a regen car was ok for 8 weeks dpf light came back on they then replaced dpf sensor forced a regen again car was ok for about 8 weeks the last time it went to the dealership the dealership said the dpf was too overloaded to force a regen so they replaced dpf luckily it was all covered by bmw auc

Hmmm, Iv read a few posts other members with the same issue... But some do a forced regen and it usually cures it - however no one has actually said whether they have replaced the exhaust back pressure sensor....?
Il have to get it checked by an Indy to see how much of the DPF is actually clogged as it could possibly be the thermostat not allowing a regen.
I need to find someone with bmw software to measure the amount of soot in the dpf etc

Iv not changed the pressure sensor yet... Although I'm not sure it's faulty -
But the dpf faults are showing but car is in Limp Mode and struggles to get to 10mph.

Prior to the new dpf the technical advisor from the dealership would go out with a little laptop connected to the obd he would keep clearing the fault until regen was successful each time it would be ok for eight weeks
