.... Took the back roads down to a track day at LeMans few weeks back in convoy with some friends

Pressing on a bit you might say and then 20miles outside of LeMans we were greeted with a police car blocking the road in front of us!

Police escort with Blues on to the cop shop

Whoops.

At least no impact on insurance  8)

I usually have about 500 Euro on me for these sort of eventualities, but so far have spotted them  - or been warned by cars coming the other way ...

How did you get on with the tunnel? I have been 3 times in the last two months and I decided to fly last week as I am sick to death of the disruption there.

Went to Spa and LeMans

On way back from Spa stack was still on coastbound, quite a sight

Lemans had to go cross country to get to tunnel which was fine. Approx hour delay.

Off again next week

The great signposted stack yes, amazing that they still can't get that right. The number of cars going wrong at roundabouts where there were other diversions in place was staggering.

Still feels odd that you get speeding fines in France whilst there are serious crimes being committed a few miles down the road.
