I am having a hard time with my rear brakes.
I have replaced the calipers, bled them and the system twice.I have new pads and disks, and made sure pads can move.
What am I missing?

Have you bled the ABS system properly? If at any time air got into the system, or an incorrect procedure was followed by a garage then you need to have a computer connected to the car to run the correct software controlled 'bleed cycle' which runs the entire system valve train through the correct sequence. You usually need the bleed nipples under a light vacuum to do this properly.
BMW Dealers have the correct kit, as will Bosch Autocentres.

Can I bleed the abs myself?

If you have a copy of the BMW GT1 software set, yes. Otherwise no. The software runs a special calve open/close sequence.
Some who have tried to sort it without have bricked the ABS modulator so be careful..

Or a Bosch Autocentre. They should have the right kit too.
