Has anybody upgraded the factory fit speakers.?
Im not wanting a full install, ie amps etc, just a upgrade of the standard speakers.
I see Rockford Fosgate do a set, aswell as do Bavsound.
Anyone got any first hand experience. For a 08 plate E70 with the standard sound system. NOT the logic 7...

Sound wasn't top of my list when I bought mine, I just checked it worked. Having had it a few weeks I'm not happy with it, my E53 sound was better. I have professional nav but no amp in the rear so just basic set up. As per the OP I'm interested in any first hand experience for improved sound without going down the audiophile root. Thanks.

There was quite a post on this over at  BMWLand before, but one option that got good reviews and recommendations was Audio Files, Stage 1 Upgrade, now I'm interested in this - but wish Bishops Stortford wasn't at the other end of the country.  What I like and notice is missing most in my E70 with the basic set up is the Tweeters, wife 2004 E83 with Professional & DSP Set Up is miles better than my 2010 basic - and it's that detail which I think I'm missing.

£449 fitted seems a reasonable price, although I would be interested if any others have experience of other solutions especially if they're further north in the country.

I fitted the Bavsound front & rear speakers, very enjoyable and works well with com system set-up. Their videos on YouTube are well presented for installation, price is ok

I've been having a search through various forums, sadly not BMWLand, and one poster had fitted JBL Titanium GTO17T tweeters to the base set up and said it made a massive difference. I listen to the radio 90% of the time so this might be enough?
